Unforgivable Part 2

The hits just keep on coming!

Unforgivable Part 2 is the story of Sophia, daughter of Jamus Willms, from Unforgivable Part 1. Jamus and Sophia have been on the run since the murder of Lord Carter. They have finally settled down in a small shanty between Faer-Tri and Kelda when the unthinkable happens. A mercenary of the King Delafon found their cottage and killed Jamus, now it is Sophia’s turn to avenge her father and her family. As she moves toward Delmar City, the King’s home we find out just how similar Sophia is to her father when she happens upon some men who wish her ill. Once inside the city she begins to search for Valerian, a herb to help her sleep. When she approaches Morris in the Merchants Guild, he tries to steal her last bit of the herb and she retaliates. When she catches up with the gypsies that try stealing her coin she is thrown into their world to do their bidding in exchange for the herb. As her death toll increases her sanity decreases. Will she be able to accomplish her goal and kill King Delafan or will the madness take her first?

This book follows a fun new track through the Willms family, while the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree Sophia is still harbors a new breed of vengeance. She will stop at nothing to get what she wants and that is a trait I do love seeing in a woman. This book is a fantastic view of what a woman can do. She lacks some of the humanity her father had and I think it makes her even better! James did a wonderful job creating a character so beautiful and so damaged. He went above and beyond with her personality and truly created an amazing character. The follow through of some of the themes from the first book to the second book was another wonderful addition by the author. There are some twists and turns in this book that you do not expect and that is what pushes this book over the edge into excellent! I absolutely loved this book and I cannot wait to see what else James Fuller has in store for his readers!
